This game is based off of the Bitboards section of Mathematics for Computer Games Development using Unity by Penny de Byl  (Holistic 3D) (Link: Course Link) (All graphical assets are from the course.)

As with EVERY Penny de Byl course, she assigns growth challenges.  In this case, she assigned that we score desert houses (+2) as well as dirt houses (+10).
Being the nerds we are, we also scored the computer's tree placements and then made it into a simple game (NOT mobile Friendly):

Can you beat the computer?

Place your houses on dirt and desert patched before the computer plants all of his trees on the dirt patches.  Earn your points to beat the computer but also try and get the maximum score.
Beware!  Once all the dirt patches have homes or trees, the game ends so you must move quickly.

(Let us know your thoughts.  This is a really simple game but it does have some strong potential for an eye-hand coordination game and could be made into something more real.  If there is enough interest, we might make this into a full game.)
